Grandma in Manila

We've had a lovely 12 days with Grandma. She arrived on Emily's birthday, and we sent her off this morning. I think she appreciated seeing the family in action. She came to school with Emily, preschool with Zoe, church with the family, dentist visits with the girls, birthday parties (Emily's, and friends) playgroup, out to dinner, and shopping.

It was great having her here. She helped with the housework on the weekends, she did a spot of editing of the next MADS magazine, she was an enthusiastic exercise partner for in the evenings, and she was great at keeping the girls entertained when we needed an extra pair of hands.

We'll miss you, Grandma!

Emily's 4th Birthday party

Yes, it's true. Our firstborn has turned 4. To celebrate, we invited the girls from her class over for a bit of a party. (The boys are "silly"). Here are a few shots.

Some pictures of late

The older girls having a 'fluffy' with their little cup sets that Great-Nanny-Joan gave them a while ago.
Emily & Tessa share a moment next to our living room window.
(One of those bizarre shots!)

Emily and Zoe with their 'Shrek' masks from McDonalds!

Tessa asleep - my favourite sight...
